Muni Jensen

Founder & CEO

Muni Jensen is the CEO of Goldleaf Advisory. She has over twenty years of experience as a business consultant, former diplomat, political risk consultant and media expert. She is an accomplished advisor for strategy for organizations and  clients on issues related to global public affairs.

Educated in Washington D.C. and born in Colombia, Muni has built her career around contextualizing global issues for business, diplomacy and government. 

Ms. Jensen previously worked for two Governments and four Ambassadors at the Colombian Embassy and Trade Office in Washington, D.C.. During this time, Ms. Jensen focused on Congressional relations in the effort to ratify the U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement, as well as serving as Press Counselor and Spokesperson for the Embassy.

After several years in trade, investment, and branding promotion in Colombia, she was a political analyst for an award winning Latin American TV show for a world news outlet. For over ten years, she advised the Albright Stonebridge Group, now DGA Group, as a Senior Advisor and Partner on Latin American political and economic issues. Muni co-hosted Altamar, a global affairs podcast, as well as the The Americas Table, interviewing leaders for Georgetown University, her alma mater. She is a columnist on international affairs for El País Colombia

Before Washington, she worked at the Cali Chamber of Commerce division of International Trade and as Vice President for Market Intelligence of Proexport Colombia in Bogotá, now Procolombia.

She,  a M.A. from Georgetown University’s Latin American Studies program, a double B.A in Political Science and Latin American Studies and a certificate in public affairs from Externado University and Columbia University.
